Following Private Benchmarking of Legal & General America, Netherlands and France by Business in the Community where a 30% average performance level was achieved we will a) improve our disclosure of these businesses in our yearly reporting cycle and b) improve BITC Ratings for these businesses by 2012 in line with expected Group performance.

In 2010 disclosures of our subsidiaries businesses in France, USA and Holland covered Community and Environmental Areas.
In 2011 CSR reports contains increased disclosures in the areas of Product Performance, Stakeholder Engagements, Community, and Environment for all of our Subsidiaries.
Our Egyptian business CIL where we have a 55% stake has disclosed its performance data to the NGO EIRIS.
Our JV's and subs have been given briefings on our approach to CSR for the Group to support their work in 2012 to improve their performance.
JV's will be privatley benchmarked against BITC CR Index performance in Q4 2012
Subsidiaries will be benchmarked in Q1 2013 on their performance against the 60% improvement target.
