Case study: Improving the way we deal with life claims.

We’ve used our knowledge from our claims business in Group Protection to streamline the claims process. Our aim is to pay life assurance benefit quickly.

We will no longer need to see the original death certificate. Instead, we’ll use an external provider to search the General Register to validate the death within the UK. This means the Trustees won’t need to ask the bereaved family to provide us with the death certificate, reducing inconvenience and distress at a difficult time.
